About
About DeployVet
DeployVet is a small, independent service that checks live websites for common security problems and bugs that anyone can see from the outside. It is made for freelancers, agencies and the clients they build for.
What we do
You give us a site address. We request the public pages and files the way a visitor or a search engine would, and compare what comes back against a fixed list of known problems: exposed keys and secrets, open database tables, public configuration files, missing security headers, HTTPS gaps, broken links and basic search-visibility issues. You get a score out of 100, a grade, and a plain description of each finding with its severity and a fix.
The free check shows the score, the grade and the most important finding in full. The paid reports show every finding. Pricing lists exactly what each one includes.
Why it exists
Sites built quickly, with AI tools or without them, tend to ship with the same avoidable mistakes. Most of them can be seen from the outside, so an outside check is a cheap, fast way to catch them before a client or a stranger does. Agencies and freelancers can run it before handoff and keep the result.
Who runs it
DeployVet is run by Hayden Young. Questions, refund requests and privacy requests go to support@deployvet.com and are answered by email. See Contact.
What DeployVet is not
- It is not a penetration test, a security audit or a compliance certification.
- It does not log in to your site, test your business logic, or try to break in.
- A clean result means we did not find the problems we check for. It does not mean your site is secure.
- We do not guarantee that a scan finds every problem, or that every finding is a real problem for your situation.
If your site holds sensitive data or has legal security requirements, use DeployVet as a first look and hire a qualified security professional for a proper assessment. The methodology page lists what is checked, what is not, how scores are calculated and where AI is and is not used.
